SCD's Theatrical Media Make Up Students Catwalk Show, "Feast For Your Eyes – The Big Bang, A New Beginning” took place on Tuesday 13 April 2010 in the Pavilion Theatre, Dun Laoghaire.  The show was an extravaganza of creativity, imagination, energy and colour which showcased the students' many skills and talents.

The first show took place at 6.30pm and was repeated at 8.30pm after which the winners were announced.

The twenty two entries to the show were judged by make up artists, Avril Magettigan, Nataile Kinsella, Sinead Murphy, Tina Hobson and Zoe Clarke.

The winning entry entitled "Turquoise Tsunami" was created by Caoimhe Murphy, Clare Holmes, Ciara Hyland, and Nan Hui and modelled by Tara Connaughton. Turquoise Tsunami was also selected for the Audience Choice Award by those that attended the 6.30pm show.

Second place went to "Alien Doll", created by Stephanie O'Neill, Rebecca Walsh, Amanda Conlon and Chan Yuan Li.

Third place was awarded to Aoife Doonan, Rebecca Fuscardi, Megan Byrne and Martina Byrne for their creation the "Dawning of the Dryad". 

Congratulations to the staff who teach on this course, Siobhan Dunne, Debbie McDonnell, Lyndsey Kavanagh and Joanne Davis for all their work on putting the show together and to the students for their stunning creations!
