SCD staff and students have raised over €2,800 towards the relief effort in Haiti. The money raised will be donated to Goal. The fundraising was co-ordinated by tutor, Frank Quinn.

As part of this fundraising initiative, second year beauty students held a men only sponsored "wax on, wax off" event on Friday 29 January, which raised over €1,000. The event was organised by tutor, Catherine Knox.
