SCD is planning to offer the following new full time course in September 2010:
eMarketing and Web Technology
Businesses need to have a strong web presence, which requires knowledge of the marketplace and an ability to understand how business can gain value and grow using the internet. The ability to successfully combine marketing and internet skills is fundamental to starting an online business or gaining employment in sales, marketing and/or e-commerce.
This FETAC Level 6 course will equip participants with the skills to:
- design and update websites to represent an organisation or market a product
- develop the back-end database to create shopping carts and facilitate electronic payment
- manage online activities to support and drive traffic to websites
- devise business plans to grow a business
- develop strategic marketing campaigns.
