Senior College Dun Laoghaire is the first training centre in Ireland to offer the prestigious MCAS qualification. MCAS graduates are recognised as expert in the Microsoft Office 2007 and Windows Vista software. These skills are highly valued in industry.
The course is ideal for any learners interested in attaining expert-qualification in Microsoft Office and Windows Vista. It is particularly relevant to graduates in the JEB/EDI Teachers' Diploma in IT Skills and those working in Information Technology training roles.
Content
Training to examination standard is provided in the following modules:
- Word 2007
- Excel 2007
- PowerPoint 2007
- Outlook 2007
- Windows Vista
Attendance
Commencing Wednesday 22 September 2010, students attend on 6:30pm-9:30pm for twenty five weeks inclusive of examinations, which are conducted and graded online.
Tuition
€350 inclusive of assessment fees.
Certification
On successful completion of each module, students are awarded a Microsoft Certificate for each module. On completion of the five mandatory modules, students become Microsoft Office Applications Certified specialists.
