Physiology and Body Massage Night course

The Diploma in Anatomy, Physiology and Body Massage (AP&M) is a base qualification in beauty therapy. Candidates study anatomy and physiology, hygiene, treatments and Swedish Body Massage.
A qualification in Anatomy and Physiology affords graduates the opportunity to progress to further studies in holistic therapies including Reflexology and Indian Head Massage.
Certification
Students are examined for the FETAC Level 5 Anatomy and Physiology Award (fully recognised by CIBTAC) and for the CIBTAC Diploma in Anatomy, Physiology and Body Massage.
Attendance
Commencing 20 September 2010, students attend on Monday (Body Massage) and Wednesday (Anatomy and Physiology) from 7pm to 10pm over a twenty-five week term. A commitment to full attendance is critical to meeting CIBTAC assessment criteria.
Assessment
Students take practical and theory examinations in April/May of each year. Examination scheduling is at the discretion of CIBTAC and once formalised, will be notified to all students as early as possible.
Tuition
€495 payable on registration. An additional fee of €180 to cover class materials and examination fees is collected in the first week of October.
